What is the Workshop for Managers Upskill
The Manager Upskill is a further online training session for qualified Thrive Instructors only and runs from 10am – 4.00pm.
Here we will give you all that you need to be able to deliver the Thrive Neurodiversity in the Workplace for Managers Course. You’ll be able to offer this half day CPD session that naturally adds on to the Aware then Champions or the Champions plus.
We will go through the session itself then all of the ideas behind each element, the questions, the challenges, the experiences we’ve had after training over 300 managers and we’ll help you to think about how you can sell the session, too.
Our aim is that by the end of the day, you will be able to teach managers to:
Identify ways to support an individual in order that they can unmask be themselves at work.
Become aware of their own language and how it can confuse people.
Address the thinking about what will hold them back from actively reaching out to offer support.
Use the triangle of support to protect the individual, themselves as managers and their company from stressful court cases and tribunals.
Become more aware of how to observe behaviour without unconscious judgement of whether or not it fits the way they think things should be.
